Low Fat Snack Recipe #3:
Fruit Kebab

This low fat snack recipe is also made of fruit. It's a Fruit Kebab!

Fruit Kebabs are an easy and interesting way of presenting fruit as a snack.

People from many countries have contributed to a wonderful cultural salad. A significant manifestation of this salad is the diversity of food we have.

Kebabs are just one of these foods. But not everyone eats meat (I do). So, making these fruit kebabs can be a great substitute if you're hosting a barbecue at your place.

However, the fruity kebabs are mainly used as a quick low fat snack recipe for yourself or for your kids. And here is a tip: You can prepare these fruity kebabs with a couple of hours of anticipation (or overnight), and then serve them "frozen".

If you are in winter time, however, you may want to skip the freezing business and have it the natural way.

As people are gradually becoming more health conscious, the traditional fattening snacks are giving way to fruits that can be prepared as low fat snack recipes.

Ingredients:

1 green apple

1/2 lemon juice

1/2 rockmelon

1/2 pineapple

1 punnet strawberries

Kebab sticks

This is what you do:

Wash the apples, rock melon, pineapple, strawberries, and dice them.

Brush the fruit with the lemon juice.

Thread the diced fruit onto 4 kebab sticks.

Eat and enjoy!

(Didn't I tell you it was easy to prepare?) ;-)
