Impress my wife with a weight loss of 10 pounds

In the next three months, I hope to lose 10 pounds, because in April, we are going to a water park for three nights, and I want to impress my wife!
I plan to jog approximately 2.5 miles, three times a week, and cut out all fast food, and continue my weight training. If I stick to this, my goal will be reached.
