Eating more fruits and vegetables to lose 20 pounds

I am hoping to lose 20 pounds, no more than 2 a week and no less that 1.

I will eliminate eating after supper; I will drink only water and start each day with whole grains. I will increase my fruit and vegetable intake as well.

If I lose 2 pounds in a week, I get to eat a treat on Sunday. When I lose 10 pounds, I am going to buy a new pair of jeans. I have been slowly gaining and don't want to get to a point where it is a real problem.
