1. Ramblings
Having friends over always pops up the question of what to serve.
Knowing that your friends (or you) are trying to shed some pounds, these Low Fat Chicken Strips are perfect to serve as finger-food.
Everyone will be thankful for the choice between the usual heavy stuff and these light and tasty dips.
2. Low Fat Chicken Strip Recipe
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
- 2 ounces crumbled blue cheese
- 3 tablespoons chopped scallions
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 5 celery stalks
Directions
Cut chicken breasts crosswise into 1/4-inch strips and celery into 3-inch sticks.
In a small bowl, mix the plain yogurt, mayonnaise and blue cheese.
Pour in scallions and pepper and set aside while preparing the chicken.
Heat the oil in a large, nonstick skillet. Season the chicken with salt. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat. Add butter
and hot sauce and swirl until the butter barely melts and the sauce coats the chicken.
Serve the chicken and celery sticks along with the blue cheese dip.
Enjoy!

3. 8 Steps to Get the Body of your Dreams in 90 Days!
1. Persistence
That should be self-explaining. If you just go on and off a low-fat and healthy life style, you'll never reach your goals.
Persistence is the one ingredient that separates the winners from the rest of the world.
2. Workout with friends.
Ever had the thought "I'm too tired/busy/etc. to workout". What helps is to make an appointment with friends to workout. It's much harder not to go....
3. Don't take bad advice
Never take advice from someone who doesn't have the lifestyle or body you want. If your grandma who weighs 200lbs gives you workout tips, why would you want to believe her?
4. Surround yourself with positive people
Nay-Sayers will drag you down and tell you that you can't reach your goals for x reasons.
Don't listen to them. Go out with positive, energetic, optimistic and friendly people.
5. Have specific goals
Get a photo (or several) of what you WILL look like when you reach your goal, and then focus only on that image.
6. Drink a lot of water
You should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.
7. Watch where your calories come from
Eat low fat and healthy foods. Try to cut down on junk food and sweets.
Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits.
8. Cardio...Cardio...Cardio.
Cardiovascular exercising does more for the health and the appearance of the human body than any other form of exercise. Learn how much and what type of cardio is right for your particular body.
